Logan Schuchart Wins at Eldora Speedway

Posted by Rob Dommes on

Logan Schuchart delivered an emotional victory Saturday night at Eldora Speedway, snapping a 64-race winless drought and dedicating the win to his late grandfather and Shark Racing founder Bobby Allen, who passed away last fall.

Allen was far more than a team owner to Schuchart — he was a mentor and guiding force both on and off the track. The win, coming in the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars finale, was hard-fought, with Schuchart and Brady Bacon swapping the lead multiple times before Schuchart pulled away and held off Rico Abreu for the checkered flag.

The victory raised Schuchart's career World of Outlaws win total to 45 and marked his seventh at Eldora. Abreu finished second, Bacon third.
